Jenson Fisher are delighted to be working with a growing organisation based in the East End of Glasgow, to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a permanent full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a dynamic team and progress their career.

The main duties:

To ensure all goods received are matched to purchases invoices (and supplier delivery notes and our purchase orders) for price and quantity in a timely manner
To raise debit notes where supplier invoices are overstated and ensure Stock records are updated for errors in Goods received
To ensure completeness of information and proper paper trail
Posting all invoices and debit notes in a timely manner to ensure settlement discounts are obtained
To cover in running daily cash payments to meet supplier terms and ensure all cash is posted to the ledger.
To assist in reconciliation of supplier accounts /payments to statements and other duties as cover for Purchase Ledger
To provide month end accrual lists of goods received with invoices not yet posted to the purchase ledger.
Daily banking of cheques, recording return cheques, and processing cash receipts to customers accounts.
