    English Teacher / English ECT + TLR | September 2024 Start | Ealing


    A fantastic Secondary School, situated within the centre of the Borough of Ealing, are seeking an English Teacher / English ECT to start full-time on a permanent basis in September 2024.


    The Headteacher is looking for an inspiring and committed English Teacher / English ECT to join their focused and supportive English Department.

    Throughout the school, the importance of reading and literacy is highlighted and the school are keen to hire an English Teacher / English ECT sharing this same passion.


    This Secondary School was judged as 'Good' by Ofsted - the Sixth Form and the behaviour and attitudes of the students were found to be 'Outstanding'.

    In 2023, the school placed in the top 10% of schools in England in relation to the provisional results achieved by Key Stage 4 pupils, and the majority of students every year go on to attend university.


    Within the English Teacher / English ECT role, there are various opportunities for TLR for experienced teachers and eager ECTs, depending on experience, including Key Stage Co-ordinator, Lead Practitioner and more.

    English Teacher / English ECT
    Based in the Borough of Ealing
    Working throughout the various Key Stages (KS3/KS4/KS5) alongside a fantastic team of English Teachers / English ECTs and Support Staff
    Delivering exciting and innovative lessons that cater to the relevant age group
    September 2024 start - Permanent, Full-Time position

    Additional TLRs available:
    Key Stage Co-ordinator, Lead Practitioner and more
    MPS- UPS3 - £36,745 - £53,959 + TLRs (Amount dependent on experience)PERSON SPECIFICATION

    Must hold UK QTS
    An individual with the ability to collaborate with an ambitious group of English Teachers
    Strong academics (GCSEs, A-Levels and Degree)
    A motivated Teacher that is able to listen to and take feedbackSCHOOL DETAILS
