This position is responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, to ensure that all our products leave the factory on time and of a high quality.

To produce products efficiently and to assist with maximising resources and minimising costs. To consistently strive for manufacturing excellence and comply with best practice in all areas of the manufacturing department.

To ensure that the area is clean and tidy by ensuring all colleagues are working in a considerate manner at all times.

To ensure all training guidance is being followed when operating machinery or a piece of equipment.

Key Duties

Operate the ridge roll machine following standard operating procedures and complete the relevant quality documentation. Ensure the production schedule is met.
Operate the pallet wrapping machines following standard operating procedures. Ability to identify issues and be involved in basic preventative maintenance
Flexible in carrying out other assigned duties, across multiple shifts including machine cover for breaks and absence or additional resources as and when required
Perform general housekeeping duties, internally and externally, on site.
Assists the Cell Leader with basic preventative maintenance on known issues.
Comply with Health and Safety and Quality policies and procedures and ensuring product is of high quality in an efficient and timely manner
Reactive cover at other sites within the Easy-Trim group when necessary.

Qualification and Experience

Experience of working in a high volume production environment is beneficial
Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail essential
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods, desirable although full training will be given
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to undertake repetitive tasks whilst maintaining focus
Work well within a team, be able to take initiative and be a highly responsible individual.
Experience of working in a similar manufacturing environment desirable with a Quality and H&S mindset
Motivated and Flexible with good communication skills
