- Establish and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

- Develop strategies to mitigate risks and optimize project profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of cost estimates, bid documents, and correspondence with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Generate clear and comprehensive reports summarizing project costs, assumptions, and key factors influencing pricing decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Proven experience in structural steel estimating, cost analysis, and bid preparation within the construction industry
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, Timberline) and familiarity with industry-standard tools and resources
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
