New Job - Project Worker
We are looking for a Project Worker to work for a charity, based in Southend.

They provide emergency housing and long-term solutions that enable people to rebuild their lives and help them on their journey away from homelessness to live independently inthe community.

- £24,000 - £26,000 pro rata

37 hours per week Monday Sunday, on a rota basis
25 days annual leave pro rata + bank holidays
Pension
Parking permit

Essentially you will be delivering a package of support and practical advice tailored to the individual, to cover a range of issues including - tenancy sustainment, education, employment, life skills and the promotion of personal independence.

Providingencouragement to improve mental health, physical health problems or substance misuse if required. You will be expected to maintain regular contact with residents building trust and meaningful relationships.

About You

You will be required to manage a caseload, key working service users and work on support plans and reviews.
Assist and enable residents to keep their accommodation and prevent evictions. Also support and help residents that are ready to move on.
You should be able to accurately maintain case files and undertake regular reviews.
Be confident and self motivating, whilst being a good team player.
Compassion, empathy and understanding are all crucial for this role.
