- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements.
- Conduct P&L analysis and cost centre adjustments, providing insights and recommendations to management based on financial performance.
- Maintain stock records and perform stock workings, including relevant journal entries and reconciliations.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare various financial reports and forms, including the Coop turnover form and EU VAT returns.
- Conduct intercompany nominal reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency across accounts.
- Assist in the preparation for year-end audits, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Flexible working hours within the range of 8-10 AM start time, with the option to finish at lunchtime on a chosen day, as long as 40 hours are completed weekly.
