Description
Due to the resurgence in the UK deals market one of our large consulting client's Strategy team is seeking to hire an Associate Director level professional who has a strong TMT focus, ideally within the digital infrastructure space of this sector.
This experience, combined with one or more of the following core propositions will be important in order to be considered for this position:growth strategy, commercial and operational due diligence, cost and operational strategy and enterprise-wide transformation.
Our client's Strategy team works closely with C-suite and senior executives to identify and execute transformation opportunities that add and protect value for shareholders, employees and society.

The role:
To be an effective Associate Director within this team, applicants will be expected to.....
Build deep client relationships and be seen as the 'go to' person and a trusted advisor by senior executives.
Support the identification, pursuit and conversion of a pipeline of business development opportunities.
Actively develop own knowledge and expertise in chosen proposition(s) and sector of choice.
Lead the design of complex engagements and take responsibility for leading day-to-day delivery.
Undertake scoping and fee negotiation on standard engagements.
Proactively develop thought leadership.
Build and maintain a strong Strategy Group, internal Firm and external network.
Understand risk and ensure that Firm's risks management frameworks are adhered to.
Inspire, motivate coach and develop project team members and appraisees, and give constructive 360 degree feedback.
Identify, design and lead critical complex practice development initiatives, coordinating other members of the team.
Required experience:
Demonstrable experience working in a leading strategy house, Big 4 firm, public sector organisation or strategy / development team in industry.
Track record of leading complex projects in TMT, Fibre and Data centres with multi-disciplinary teams in a consulting or corporate environment.
Experience of managing or supporting high-value business development activities with senior stakeholders.Demonstrable ability to build and commercialise relationships with senior executives.
Strong academic track record.
Sales and business development skills.
Evidence of strong problem-solving & analytical capabilities.
Structured thinking skills combined with creativity.
Ability to talk credibly with C-level clients on the key issues and strategic considerations facing the industry.
Ability to evaluate complex challenges and deliver insightful recommendations that can be practically executed.
Ability review and assess large volumes of technical data and distil the key strategic insights.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Other language skills would be a strong bonus.
