Role Purpose

This role is positioned within the ACE Vivace delivery team, but aligned to Frameworks & Subcontractor Management (F&SM) team under an adaptive working approach between home, Farnborough and the ACE office in central London to encourage collaboration.

The role is will report into FS&M with responsibility for supporting procurement activities, assurances, developing and maintaining the supply chain network, working closely with internal project teams, external suppliers and partners.

We adopt an adaptive working approach that is a flexible framework to how and where we work.

We will continue to bring to life how these principles are practically applied, with a hybrid approach of working on site, remotely and a blend of the two.

This isunderpinned by informal and formal flexible working, enabling employees to adapt working patterns to meet customer and team commitments, as well as our individual needs, through discussions with managers on optimal working patterns.

Key Accountabilities

Key accountabilities include:


  • Embedded within, Frameworks & Subcontractor Management Team, to provide end to end Supply Chain advice, sourcing, supply assurance, delivery, supply chain relationships and tasking against requirements.
  • Applicable and managed adherence of procurement process across all ACE tasks
  • Providing continuous improvement support to improve Framework efficiencies
  • Stakeholder engagement to support communications (internal and external).
  • Planning of current and future workload.
  • Onboarding new suppliers and maintaining assurances of our Supply Chain network, through signup of our Framework Operating Documentation, JOSCAR and Terms & Conditions
In Contract support to maintain on-time and compliant delivery

Key Capabilities/Knowledge

Functional:


  • Confident in communicating, building relationships with crossfunctional colleagues, suppliers and business stakeholders (Essential)
  • Problem solving ability, detail oriented and ability to manage multiple tasks. (Essential)
  • Supporting risk mitigation and flexibility within supply chain including, supplier sourcing and leverage to deliver improvement, quality, supplier performance and cost reduction.
  • Be a selfstarter and be able to represent the procurement function
