    Description

    We are currently recruiting a Clinical Coding Professional for our client to support their development team and growing customer base.


    Start date:

    ASAP
    End date: 12 months from a start date

    Pay rate: 29.35 GBP per hour

    This position is remote position/ working from home. You will be required to attend the Loughborough office once a quarter for a team meeting.

    The role

    Main UK point of contact with global development team working on system functionality, and lead on new software validation activities

    Identifying product enhancements through customer feedback

    Conducting thorough testing to identify potential issues.

    Supporting the creation of product educational content


    Production and maintenance of both technical and user documentation and procedures, for training and marketing purposes ensuring that they are kept up to date.

    Engage, train and support customers in testing new and enhanced software

    Actively seek and remain aware of any pending changes in national clinical coding practice and the impact on software development


    Qualifications and skills:
    Accredited Clinical Coder (National Clinical Coding Qualification) - Required

    Advantageous - Either an NHSE Approved Clinical Coding Auditor or NHSE Approved Clinical Coding Trainer

    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


    Experience:
    In depth knowledge of ICD-10 and OPCS and national coding rules and conventions

    In-depth knowledge of NHS Finance System; National Tariff and associated Healthcare Resource Groups

    Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

    Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to work accurately under pressure meeting deadlines.

    Extensive NHS clinical coding experience

    Training or coaching within a clinical coding team
