    Portfolio Sales Director – Optical / Electronic products

    Our Yorkshire based client is a manufacturer and supplier of photonic and related equipment for imaging and photonic technology applications. They are currently looking for a Portfolio Sales Director to provide leadership and mentoring to internal sales and related technical teams.

    This is a pivotal role within the team where the successful candidate will be influential in growing and developing business in Europe

    Additional responsibilities will include :

    • Ensuring the successful operation and development of sales delivery to customers deriving from online and catalogue and phone sales
    • Expanding customer base through the initiation and delivery of strategic sales plans
    • Leading, motivating and developing sales team leaders for product support, customer service, sales operations, and inside sales to achieve and exceed sales goals
    • Mentoring and coaching staff
    • Assessing and reporting on sales metrics, including sales pipeline
    • Leading by example and providing a world class 'customer first' service
    • Understanding changes in customer marketplace and identifying emerging technologies to support future growth
    • Collaborating with marketing and finance teams to further develop and improve strategies and processes.
