Job Role:
Manufacturing Production Operative


Hours:
Monday to Friday 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday & on a Friday.


Salary:
£11.00 per hour

gap personnel Bristol are operating as an employment business and currently looking to recruit x1 Manufacturing Production Operatives to join the team based in Nailsea, BS48.


Our client is a UK based manufacturing company who have been designing and manufacturing cases and protective foam inserts to supply to British Industry for over 25 years.

Led by an innovative owner, a talented team of engineers and a lean manufacturing ideology, who have positioned its business and products to be competitive through clearly defined differentiators within the diverse and fragmented 'case and protective packaging' market.


Responsibilities:


  • Manufacture of all types of cases
  • Following job spec sheets
  • Assembling cases from scratch
  • Using handheld drills and tools
  • Quality checking work
  • Complete all tasks within permitted time scale
  • General housekeeping, keeping the workshop tidy

About you:


  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using hand tools
  • Proven accuracy and efficiency in your work
  • Consistently produce the highest standards of work
  • Being able to work to job sheets
  • Ability to adapt and learn new skills

Job Type:
Temp to perm

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
£11.00-£16.50 per hour
