- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in French and/or Spanish that inspire and engage students.

- Contribute to the development of schemes of work, resources, and teaching strategies in the MFL department.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity, progression, and coverage of the curriculum.
- Participate in extracurricular activities such as language clubs, trips, and events to enrich students' learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievement, and progress in line with school policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and wellbeing.
- Continuously develop your professional skills and knowledge through ongoing training, reflection, and collaboration with colleagues.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification; NQTs are welcome to apply.
- Degree in French, Spanish or a related field; native or near-native fluency in the language(s) you will be teaching is essential.
- Proven experience of teaching MFL at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a secondary school setting; experience teaching GCSE.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching languages to young people
- Excellent classroom management skills with a commitment to ensuring high standards of behaviour and learning.
- Ability to plan engaging lessons that cater for the diverse needs of learners; differentiated instruction is essential in our inclusive setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, carers, and colleagues.

Description
Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a fully qualified MFL teacher to join one of our client schools. This is a vibrant and inclusive secondary school located in the heart of Central Manchester. This school is committed to providing an excellent education for all our students, inspiring them to achieve their full potential.
This will be a full-time role, working Monday-Friday.
This role is due to begin on the 2nd of September 2024.
The successful candidates will be paid in line with your teacher pay scale point, (between £30,000 and £46,525 per annum).
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel are seeking an enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced MFL teacher to join their dynamic languages department from March 2024. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French and Spanish at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be passionate about languages and committed to sharing their knowledge and enthusiasm with our students. The role involves planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that motivate students and develop their language skills. You will also contribute to extracurricular activities such as language clubs and trips.
