    Job Description

    The System Analyst I role offers junior analysts a solid foundation in the principles and processes of the analysis practice. It provides the opportunity to expand into systems analysis, business analysis, or a combination of both.

    Junior analysts will work closely with experienced mentors to enhance their analytical skills, deepen their knowledge of applications and business operations, and complete assigned tasks efficiently and to the required standards.

    Main responsibilities:

    • Developing a strong grasp of analysis processes and principles.
    • Understanding how our applications specifically support business operations.
    • Configuring applications to meet client requirements with guidance from senior analysts.
    • Assisting in analyzing requirements and procedures to determine effective solutions for the organization.
    • Participating in defining specifications and acceptance criteria with support from senior analysts.
    • Collaborating with stakeholders (analysts, developers, testers, etc.) to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
    • Supporting User Acceptance Testing processes.
    • Performing any other duties appropriate for the role's level.

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency in technical skills and SQL.
    • Previous experience in an analysis role or demonstrated analytical skills through practical experiences.
    • Basic knowledge or hands-on experience in gathering, managing, and documenting requirements effectively.
    • Understanding of the London Insurance Market structure and processes.
    • Familiarity with how the product aligns with user needs in their daily activities.
