    Eram Talent, a division of ERAM Group, is a talent acquisition consultancy that specializes in providing recruitment solutions for the oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a highly skilled System Analyst with a background in Petroleum Engineering for our client, an industry-leading oil and gas company. As a System Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing user requirements, developing and implementing software applications, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company's information systems. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the success of a major player in the petroleum industry.

    If selected, the job location would be in Saudi Arabia.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze user requirements and system specifications, particularly in the field of Petroleum Engineering.
    • Design and develop software applications that meet the needs of the company's Petroleum Engineering department.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and data.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot software applications, ensuring their optimal performance.
    • Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective system utilization.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in petroleum engineering software.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • At least 8 years of experience as a System Analyst in Petroleum Engineering, Drilling Engineering or similar role in the petroleum industry.
    • Strong knowledge of petroleum engineering concepts and processes.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
    • Experience in software development and database management.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
