    As part of our next phase of growth Blackcircles islooking for a second Content Specialist to join our team. Working as part of the wider Marketing Communications team, the right candidate will play a role in creating the written content in both long and short form. This content will help Blackcircles establish itself as a category leader in consumer engagement and support around the automotive market.

    You will work specificallyon news articles for the van and motorcycle segments, supporting our electric vehicles, performance, and SUV/4x4 segments as well as any content which supports revenue or our broader business ambitions. Working alongside the Marketing Communications Manager you will be tasked with producing comprehensively researched, well-written content to agreed deadlines.

    Our articles share new car releases, industry insights, engaging motoring highlights, plus concepts sourced through brand partnerships. Primarily driven by the Marketing Communications Manager or through content concepts that you have considered and planned yourself. As well as ideating and producing content, the ideal candidate will publish articles via our content platform and be responsible for sourcing images and any other media assets. Plus, ensuring articles are published in line with best SEO practices.

    The content you produce will not only support customers in their buyer journey but will also help build an entirely new approach for the industry when it comes to retail media.

    Key Skills and Responsibilities:

    • Publish content online, ensuring Blackcircles publishing guidelines are always met.
    • Deliver a consistent quality of content derived from Blackcircles overall principles and established brand guidelines.
    • Manage a content production schedule relating to your category.
    • Work closely with other teams to ensure the content produced reaches the right audience via marketing channels (social media, content networks, newsletters etc.)

    Key Personal Criteria

    • You will be an enthusiastic, creative and experienced digital storyteller.
    • Strong digital publishing and story-telling skills and fully versed in digital content creation.
    • Confident in using SEO knowledge to write and update content that is designed to rank on Google and other search engines.
    • Comfortable interviewing subject matter experts for Q&A style pieces.
    • A high level of attention to quality, detail, and accuracy is required.
    • You will take initiative to stay up to date with relevant story sources and pitch ideas.
    • Track record of day-to-day delivery capability in a fast paced and autonomous environment.
    • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and prioritise workflows when ad hoc tasks are introduced.

    As well as a competitive annual salary based on experience the right candidate will also receive:

    • Pension provision - we pay 5% of your base salary as an employer's contribution.
    • Up to 10% discretionary annual bonus based on company's performance.
