Description

We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer & Reporting Analyst to join one of our clients who are located in Hemel Hempstead (hybrid working once up and running).


About the role:
You will support the information needs of the business, helping to drive sales and deliver the best possible experience.


You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting and developing ETL routines to extract, transform and load data.
  • Involvement in the analysis and specification of reports and datasets.
  • Development of reports and datasets to meet the needs of the business.
  • To assist with the running of routine procedures to meet operational schedules.
  • To ensure that users achieve the optimum use of information.
  • The support of the daily reporting processes.
  • Future proof out data architecture, considering new technologies and security protocols.
  • Work with other members of the IT Team with gathering and specifying new reporting requirements.
  • Involvement in process development to drive best practise and performance of systems.
  • Always maintain security and GDPR principals.
Key Skills and Job Requirements

  • Experience in Microsoft SQL (ideally 2016 but this isn't essential).
  • Data warehouse experience.
  • Experience in reporting services and visual studio.
  • Experience writing and tuning SQL queries.
  • Experience with SSAS Cubes.
  • Experience in one or more cloudbased data storage toolsets such as AWS / Microsoft Azure / Snowflake.
