Field Services Team Leader

Key Responsibilities - Field Services Team Leader:

  • Manage our team of field-based electrical engineers
  • Monthly 11s (or more regularly if required)
  • Regular quality assurance checks
  • Monthly team meetings/workshops
  • Complete Return to work interviews
  • Monitor and manage absences.
  • Maintain asset register for the team.
  • Assist with Van maintenance and queries.
  • Review expenses and overnight payments.
  • Reviewing how work is scheduled to ensure we are optimizing our workforce.
  • Monitoring Van Stock/additional stock levels to ensure our engineers are equipped for their work (This includes PPE and stock required for all job types).
  • Managing our approved suppliers for consumables and equipment.
  • Ordering powered access equipment and specialized stock where required.
  • Assist with Equipment Manufacturing on an adhoc basis when required.
  • Managing electrical installations.
  • Assist with Installations/Breakdowns/Services on site on an adhoc basis when required.
  • Attend internal meetings to update the wider team on achievements, progress, and risks.
  • Review information collected by the helpdesk team to assist in addressing any queries a customer may have. This forms part of an escalation process when the query cannot be managed solely by the helpdesk team, or the technical team, and requires a higher level of knowledge to resolve.
  • Regular update of the Corrective action register.
  • Be responsible for the continuous improvement of processes and procedures within the engineering team, ensuring that requirements of regulation such as ISO 9001 are maintained (You will be supported by the QSHE manager).
  • Comply with and Maintain SafeContractor status.
  • Creating RAMs.
  • Reviewing Contractor RAMs.
  • Completing supplier forms and Customer log sheets.
  • Attending site to discuss projects when required.
  • Working closely with our partners and heating companies to forge and maintain excellent business relationships. Managing our Contractors.

£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
