Hours: 30 hours and 50 mins per week (with 30 minutes lunch break), Monday to Friday 8.50am to 3.30pm

Contract:
Permanent, Part-Time (to start as soon as possible, once all checks are completed)


Warmsworth Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join the team and make a difference for children, particularly those with additional needs.

Warmsworth is a large mainstream primary school, providing educa tion for children aged between 3 and 11 years old.


Our inclusive ethos means that we are supporting an increasingly higher number of children with additional needs, sometimes very complex, and we need additional staffing to best meet the needs of these children.

This post will also include supporting children through the lunchtime period in a midday supervisor role.

  • Be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to form relationships quickly with our children and staff.
  • Be a team player with high standards of themselves and others.
  • Have experience, or an interest and understanding, of supporting primary aged children and Special Educational Needs and Disability.
  • Be able to lead learning in groups of children.
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
(GCSE English and Mathematics to Grade C or above, or equivalent)
