- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates specialist palliative clinical care for patients
- Participate in the education of other professional and non-professional staff.
- Be prepared to mentor students from educational establishments on clinical placements.
- Be prepared for frequent exposure to a variety of circumstances such body odours, bodily fluids, and challenging situations
- Work as part of a team supporting community hospice services.

- To escalate concerns to ward manager or their deputy, or a nurse on call if decisions are required outside of scope of responsibility
- To participate in complex moving and handling scenarios with patients with additional needs, using specialist moving equipment and hoists

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced senior nurse to join our Children and Young Person Community Team.
You will be managing a caseload of patients requiring long-term support, with complex needs, travelling throughout Essex to their homes, or working within the hospice setting.
