Our client is looking for a Finance Officer to join their busy team in Cardiff.

They are looking for someone to provide leaners, customers and colleagues with support, advice guidance as part of your everyday role.

Essential:

A minimum of 2 years credit control experience
Good customer service skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Persistence and determination
Ability to work well in a team
Patience and ability to remain calm in stressful situations

Responsibilities:

Creating and upholding payment procedures and policies that ensure timely payment
Responding to client queries
Maintain customer relations
Reconciling accounts
Providing administrative support to finance team
Keeping close watch on debtor account balances
Reducing debtors' 'Days Sales Outstanding'
Liaising with stakeholders to ensure cash is collected and warn them of potential credit risk
Allocating cash book receipts
