    Description
    EDS CAD Electrical Installation Designer
    I am recruiting for a leading motorsport automotive company who is seeking a EDS CAD Engineer to join their team
    As EDS CAD Engineer your main responsibilities are:
    ~ The role encapsulates the end-to-end electrical design of the integration of electrical systems.
    ~2D electrical circuits - Schematics, logical architecture, wire gauge calcs, fusing, electrical functionality, I/O
    ~2D manufacturing - Drawings, build lists, wiring instructions, BOM, supplier selection, costings, planning capture.
    ~ CAD, 2D & 3D drawing data and design (UG NX)

    To have a clear understanding of CAD and UG NX systems at customer site.
    To maintain and control all CAD records and data in the support of project related work.
    Design and model components, system installations to customer satisfaction.
    To work at customer location in the support of 2D, 3D product data generation as and when required.

    To have a clear understanding of automotive electrical distribution systems, drawings and awareness of best in class systems that are available.

    Control, record and implement engineering changes to harness drawings.
