Description

Responsible for overseeing and managing the cost base for the UKCRA & UKCS business units and investment spend for Europe.

Expertise required in order to develop and implement strategies to reduce cost, improve EBITDA and drive the company to achieve its financial objectives.


What you'll do:


  • Lead the annual budget and monthly forecast process for the cost base across UKCRA & UKCS
  • Leading the cost management team including direct line management of at least 1 team member.
  • Responsible for the oversight and challenge of function spend and cost control across UKCRA & CS business units.
  • Encourage a culture of cost control, emphasising its importance and driving the required behavior across the SLT.
  • Identify areas of improvement across the cost management team ensure processes are optimised and best practices are shared across the region.
  • Ownership of the profitability by product reporting providing financial insights and recommendations to the business.
  • Develop the profitability by customer report through collaboration with key business stakeholders. Standardise the process to allow roll out across the region.
  • Oversee the investment monitoring and management across Europe. Ensure financial tracking aligns with milestone progress, making the SLT aware of R&Os of the portfolio on a monthly basis
  • Provide cover for the Head of FP&A (Europe) when required.

What experience you need:


  • Qualified Accountant.
  • Strong and current experience of working within Commercial Finance.
  • Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to shape, lead and successfully manage a team.
  • Ability to make decisions whilst considering commercial impact and stakeholder perspectives to reach collaborative solutions.
  • Experience in both presenting and influencing senior management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both facetoface and report writing including the ability to present complex information clearly and accurately.
  • Proven business partnering with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within a dynamic, deadline driven environment
  • Cost control experience including a solid understanding and appreciation of best practice in these areas.
  • Proven track record of delivering process improvement and valueadd insight.

  • Knowledge of US GAAP
