Equifind are working with a growing FX business in the centre of London, who are in the search for a management accountant to join the business.

This is a brilliant opportunity to start straight away in a great organisation and run a reconciliations project for them, before getting stuck into the "business-as-usual" daily duties.

You will be working hand-in-hand with the head of finance, who is looking to train someone up and help them grow their skill set and get the most out of this role.

Some key duties and responsibilities for this management accountant position include:

Manage a full reconciliation project in respect of operating bank accounts for the year and investigate & amend any discrepancies
Assist with the preparation of the management accounts for the group
Manage quarterly period close procedures including journal postings and balance sheet reconciliations
Produce yearend audit files for subsidiaries and be a point of contact for any queries
Review and authorise AP invoices for posting and validity for designated entities across the group
Help integrate the new software with the back office and accounting systems to a new consolidated platform
Support other ongoing specialist projects across the business as and when required

Experience & Qualifications

A finalist level management accountant or qualified by experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
A strong background in projects and reconciliations
Experience of working in the financial services sector
Experience of reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS
Used to working in a flexible and agile environment to meet strict deadlines
Exposure to multicurrencies is a plus

A growing FX business based in the heart of London. The business offers trading services to both financial institutions and corporate clients across the globe.

The team has extensive experience in this space and it's performance is a result of the great advice and relationships that have been built.

The team in London is around 40 heads, so you will be working in a small but high-performing company.

You will work closely with the head of finance to gain maximum exposure to the finance duties and general business operations.

The business is situated in a vibrant office in London and requires someone willing to work in the office four times per week.

Salary

This exciting opportunity for a management accountant will pay £40-50k per annum depending on your background and experience.

There is a high chance that this opportunity will be made permanent if proves a success. Study support will be offered if this is the case.
