We're looking for a talented Work Experience Co-ordinator to work for us.

We want to recruit someone with skills to organise work placement opportunities for 16-24 year olds on Traineeships and Study programmes.

We are seeking a passionate and motivational individual to join our growing team to ensure high quality work placement opportunities are available for our young people and that these are designed to develop learners' knowledge skills and behaviours to help them progress into employment opportunities.

The Role:

To organise and co-ordinate work placement opportunities for all learners on Traineeships and Study programmes across all Chamber sites.

You will also be required to:

  • Liaise with employers to identify suitable work placement and apprenticeship opportunities for 16-24 year old learners
  • Build sustainable relationships with employers to develop new opportunities
  • Ensure regular employer and learner reviews are conducted ensuring learner progress is monitored and developed throughout their programme
  • Ensure learners are well equipped to progress into apprenticeship and employment opportunities by providing ongoing support
  • Deliver and develop group sessions to prepare young people for their work placement opportunities
  • Conduct Health and Safety visits for new employers

In addition, you'll need to:

  • Be experienced in working with learners from disadvantaged backgrounds
  • Have a teaching qualification at Level 3 or above or willingness to work towards
  • Have a track record of planning and delivering training to a diverse group of clients with a particular focus on 1624 year olds.

The Package:


Salary:
up to £26,000 per annum

Hours: 37 per week - Monday to Friday
