Description
This role will be responsible for facilitating the import and export of goods in compliance with national and international customs regulations.
Ensure all import and export activities comply with relevant customs laws, regulations, and procedures.Prepare and submit required documentation for customs clearance, including but not limited to customs declarations, invoices, and shipping manifests.
Accurately classify imported and exported goods according to tariff schedules and customs regulations.Calculate and verify duties, taxes, and fees owed on imported and exported goods.
Assess and mitigate potential risks related to customs compliance, including duty drawback programs, preferential trade agreements, and customs valuation.
Stay informed about changes in customs regulations and policies, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.Provide training and guidance to staff members and clients on customs compliance procedures and best practices.
