Technical Training Instructor
Nottingham-based with travel in the UK, Ireland, and occasionally overseas.

John Deere is a leading supplier of agricultural and turf equipment.

We are recruiting a Technical Training Instructor to join our team at Langar to develop and deliver training to company and dealer staff and to customers.

Training programs are mainly product-based technical training but also include some sales training.

A sound technical background in agricultural and/or turf products and systems such as engines, electronics, and hydraulics together with a qualification in engineering, preferably to a degree standard.
Knowledge of the learning and development process, including areas such as instructional and presentation skills, needs assessments, adult learning theory, and curriculum development.
Previous experience in developing and delivering training.
13 years of field experience with regular customer contact and broad product knowledge.
Knowledge of the dealer/distribution network. Experience working with dealers would be an advantage.
A good working knowledge of MS Office.
A willingness to travel to deliver training at dealer locations and regional events.
