Key Areas of Responsibility:


  • Maintain client portfolio records to ensure that they are kept up to date, providing an accurate record of stock transactions, holdings, tax costs and valuations in a time efficient manner.
  • Ensuring documentation is accurately recorded for audit purposes.
  • Organising probate valuations.
  • Attending relevant training sessions to develop knowledge and skills.
  • Liaison with data providers to request and/or verify the accuracy of data feeds.
  • Processing corporate actions that affect all holders of a specific security.
  • Maintaining performance data to reflect clients' investments.
  • Performing daily price checks to ensure accuracy of data feeds.
  • Maintaining the accuracy of the stock data base.
  • Maintaining records to ensure that capital gains tax calculations can be automated.

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Educated to A-Level, or equivalent, including Maths.
  • Appropriate experience in a similar role within the finance industry.

Knowledge & Skills:


  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT skills, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Ability to work to deadlines when under pressure.
