Description
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Maintain client portfolio records to ensure that they are kept up to date, providing an accurate record of stock transactions, holdings, tax costs and valuations in a time efficient manner.
- Ensuring documentation is accurately recorded for audit purposes.
- Organising probate valuations.
- Attending relevant training sessions to develop knowledge and skills.
- Liaison with data providers to request and/or verify the accuracy of data feeds.
- Processing corporate actions that affect all holders of a specific security.
- Maintaining performance data to reflect clients' investments.
- Performing daily price checks to ensure accuracy of data feeds.
- Maintaining the accuracy of the stock data base.
- Maintaining records to ensure that capital gains tax calculations can be automated.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educated to A-Level, or equivalent, including Maths.
- Appropriate experience in a similar role within the finance industry.
Knowledge & Skills:
- A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong numerical skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills, specifically Excel.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
- Ability to work to deadlines when under pressure.
