Job Title:
Finance Assistant


Location:
Beverley, FE College


Job Purpose:

To provide administrative and financial support to the finance department in order to ensure effective and efficient financial management.


Key Responsibilities:


Accounts Receivable:


  • Manage and process invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Follow up on outstanding debts and maintain accurate records.

Accounts Payable:


  • Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payment
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.

Budgeting and Reporting:


  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial reports
  • Monitor expenses and reconcile accounts as necessary.

Financial Administration:


  • Maintain accurate financial records and files
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.


Requirements:


  • Experience in a finance assistant role is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organisational and timemanagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software
