Hi my name is Adam and I am the Customer Success Team Leader here at ORCA Service Technologies. In my role I look after the support team, ensuring we deliver quality services to our growing customer base. I am looking for an IT support apprentice to joinour high performing team.

Our team started by developing bespoke software a Facility Service organisation focussed on commercial kitchen maintenance. We created custom android and windows apps for them. We now deliver cloud-based software internationally for a growing customer base.


We are looking for an apprentice to join our software support team: someone who knows their way around a computer and is not afraid to work hard to learn quickly on the job.


As an IT apprentice at ORCA Service Technologies (OST), you will be challenged with a diverse set of responsibilities including IT support and understanding user's issues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for IT support activities (categorising, prioritising, and solving tickets)
  • Support senior and junior developers on groundbreaking projects and cuttingedge development activities
  • Working closely with customers to scope incoming project requests
  • Understand OST's organisational systems to develop and support customers
  • Responsible for customer contact and project ownership around your development works


You will be joining a dynamic team with ranging sets of experience levels: from junior interns to seasoned professionals with more than 20 years experience.

Requirements:


  • Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Have a basic understanding and passion for IT
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Preferred: IT hardware skills
  • Preferred: Software development skills (programming)
  • Preferred: Prior education and/or working experience in IT
  • Preferred: Good communication skills through a variety of methods
