Aon are currently recruiting a Chief Claims Officer (UK) to join our team in London.

The Chief Claims Officer (UK) will be primarily responsible for delivering claims services and outcomes to clients of our London branch network business units.

The Chief Claims Officer (UK) will manage all UK based claims colleagues and will play a key role in devleoping and implementing strategy, escalation of key client issues and engagement with insurers.

This is a leadership role with participation in our Global Claims Leadership Team and UK Leadership Teams as well as in relevant Risk Committees.

Your impact as a Commercial Risk Claims Leader UK:
Represent the region as a member of Global Claims Leadership Team
Represent claims as a member of Global Broking Center Leadership Team
Represent claims as a member of Commercial Risk Regional Leadership Team
Sponsorship of all relevant elements of the firm's claims infrastructure, including global platform / Claims Resolution Platform
Engage as a point of senior level escalation to the benefit of clients on specific complex claims and / or portfolio performance issues with carriers, third party administrators and others
Contribute to claims innovation and service model enhancement, including through leverage of ABS
Contribute to new business and growth by articulating the value and differentiation of Aon's claims approach and results, and by sponsorship of pricing and client service agreement strategies
Lead the talent agenda for claims within the region, including career development, performance assessment, succession planning and recruitment
Ensure engagement with Commercial Risk claims leaders in other geographies and business units to bring the full benefit of Aon's claims team to clients
Actively engage in claims related carrier management activity and fully lead regional engagement in adjuster, law firm and other vendor relationship management
Specific oversight of claims services for, and opportunities with, Enterprise Clients

Involvement in Risk Committee activities to assist in the mitigation of risk to the firm, specifically providing lessons learned and related to insights to inform stakeholders of the need for improvement and / or clarification in working processes, policy wordings etc.

Representation of Aon as a claims leader in the industry through Committee, Advisory Board and other memberships, and through speaking / publication engagements

Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
