Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Science Technician for a opportunity to join a school rated as "good" by Ofsted.


Based in a residential area of Haringey, the school is looking for a hard-working Science Technician to join a popular, oversubscribed school.

This is a full time, long-term role starting immediately for the rest of the academic year and there could be thepossibility of a permanent option in the future.


Duties involved in the role will include, but not be limited to:

  • Ensure that staff and pupils are provided with high quality support and resources to support learning,
  • Managing the school Science resources on a day to day basis
  • Maintaining an appropriate health and safety culture at all times
  • Take a role in class based support for practical and IT based activities.
  • Maintain an up to date inventory of school Science resources
  • Organise prep and store rooms

Requirements:


  • Science graduate.
  • Laboratory experience (essential)
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
The salary at this school for this role is £13-14 per hour, depending on experience.
