The role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Client Integration team.
We are looking for a Client Integration Test Lead who has experience of developing and delivering a Testing Strategy and Test Plan.
What you'll do
- Work with clients to agree on a testing approach based on GSS standards and the bank's internal standards / governance processes
- Leading the discussion and delivery of the Testing Strategy and Test Plan with GSS clients
- Track customer integration test execution progress against plan and publishing regular status updates to GSS management and stakeholders
- Driving ongoing assessment of test execution including recommendations to clients to ensure test completes on time and with quality
- Manage training and allocation of test resources to support various test phases as part of client's integrating with GSS
- Support the triage of issues identified during system integration, user acceptance, nonfunctional and preproduction testing
- Helping to improve the Customer Integration process
- Supporting the Customer Integration Delivery Manager in designing and implementing a repeatable framework for the integration testing by GSS clients
- Work within the Client Integration team and with the Product & Technology teams to create reuseable collateral to expedite and improve testing done by the clients
- Working with the wider integration, product and technology teams to remove impediments to productivity and/or timely integration with GSS clients
About you
What you'll need
- Minimum 8 years' experience in a test lead / management role (mandatory)
- ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing or equivalent (Desirable)
- Experience in Test Planning, Preparation, Execution and Reporting (Desirable)
- Experience of working in a customer facing role in User Acceptance Testing (Desirable)
- Experience of using Teams, Jira, Confluence, Excel, and PowerPoint (mandatory)
- Experience in IT deliveries that include transactional processes (mandatory)
- Experience in ETL testing (extract, transform, load) (Desirable)
- Experience in testing Sanction Screening systems (Desirable)
- Experience with testing payment process in financial services (Desirable)
- Experience of testing on a complex platform software delivery (Desirable)
- Experienced with a range of software delivery lifecycle toolsets (Desirable)
- Experience of working in waterfall and agile IT development environments (Desirable)
- Experience of working within an Agile Frameworks such as LESS and or SAFe and adapting to meet the way of working (Desirable)
- Experience of working with a distributed team (mandatory)
- Fluent in written and spoken business English (mandatory)
