    Description
    My Client in Telford is looking for a Field Service Engineer.

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our customers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

    Duties:

    • Install, service, and repair machinery on site
    • Carry out fault finding mechanically and electrically
    • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
    • Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
    • Document all service activities, including repairs, replacements, and upgrades
    • Travel to customer sites as needed

    Benefits:

    • Company office is based in Telford, this position has the flexibility to work from home. It would be more beneficial to live closer to an international airport.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in an appropriate engineering subject
    • Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role
    • Strong technical knowledge of relevant equipment and systems
    • Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
    • Willingness to travel extensively
