Description

Novalis Trust offers a unique, caring and nurturing environment that is both therapeutic and educational for young people and adults set in beautiful surroundings at Cotswold Chine School (Minchinhampton), Paradise House (Painswick) and William Morris School (Eastington), with the Head Office based in Ebley, Stroud.

Dedicated to horticultural work and grounds maintenance, you will join a small team of gardeners and estate workers.

You will be responsible for the walled garden and borders around the buildings in the grounds, potentially working with Residents and young people from time to time.

The role also includes aspects of care for the two Shetland ponies on site and the support of young people and residents who are spending time with the ponies.

As part of the gardening and maintenance team, you will have a flexible approach with good interpersonal skills, be able to work under your own initiative as well as part of a team and have your own transport as you may be required to drive between sites, supporting any garden related tasks as required.

Hours: 8-5pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks pa and occasional weekend work

Holidays: 30 days per annum (Incl. of Bank Holidays)

Salary:
£22,000 - £24,000 Dependent on experience and/or qualifications.
