WilliamMorris School, part of Novalis Trust, is a charity that supports children with neurodevelopmentaldifficulties. The school is one of the few educational establishments in thecountry to adopt a truly trauma-informed and trauma-responsive approach tocare, therapy and education.
We arecurrently seeking a dedicated Welfare Manager to work in our small 39-weekboarding provision, due to open in September 2024.
This is an exciting opportunityto take a senior role in the opening and development of a new provision. Youwill support the Head of Boarding in creating a positive environment thatenables pupils to meet their outcomes, and work closely with staff from ourtherapeutic, Youth Support, Care and Education teams.
Main duties of the job
Key areas:
oBe responsiblefor ensuring that the boarding provision is run in line with the vision forboarding at William Morris School, Novalis Trust
oSupport the Headof Boarding to ensure the implementation and maintenance of National MinimumStandards within the boardingprovision practices and processes.
