Hours:
35 hours per week working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Primarily Head Office (Skipton) based with the option to work from home occasionally

Job Description:

We're looking for someone with a keen interest and background in IT to join our Desktop Support Team.

You'll be part of our 2nd line team working closely with colleagues across the Society making sure they have what they need to work effectively.

You'll join an enthusiastic team of 6 colleagues at the hub of our IT Department.

What you will be doing


This is a varied role however your primary focus will be supporting colleagues across the Society by resolving issues, outfitting them with equipment, deploying software, and setting up new starters.

Customer service is a key part of the role as you will be interacting with a variety of colleagues in different ways.

We work proactively with colleagues to ensure they are getting the most out of their IT, so you'll get to build and maintain strong working relationships across the business.


Other responsibilities include supporting our Business Continuity Planning, contributing to projects, and working on automation and process improvements - ensuring we're always offering the best service.

What you will bring

An enthusiasm for technology and technical aptitude is essential for this role.

We're looking for someone with a proactive approach and effective time management skills, alongside a desire to develop - this will mean you get the most out of the role.

A knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, SCCM, software packaging and ITIL would be beneficial, but isn't essential if you're willing to learn.


Experience in a first or second line IT Support role is essential and a passion for technology and improvement is a must to enable you to hit the ground running in this busy department.
