About The Role:


An Exciting opportunity to join Housing Solutions as a Community Engagement Apprentice, under a fixed 18 month contract while completing a Level 3 City and Guilds Business Administration Course qualification.


While completing your apprenticeship you will be working in our friendly and professional Housing Department and supporting the Community Engagement Team to deliver an exceptional community engagement and volunteering programme to the residents and the organisation, by providing a customer focused, efficient and effective service.


Assisting the organisation to help us exceed the regulatory standards for Tenant Involvement and Empowerment by assisting in, creating and developing engagement projects by working with our residents and stakeholders in line with our Resident Engagement Strategy.

Working across different partnerships and organisations to expand the reach of our engagement projects across our communities.


About you:


We are looking for a "people person" who can build relationships with residents and stakeholders from all walks of life, someone who is able, and eager to make a positive impact on communities within the local area and be passionate about empowering our residents.


You must be confident and well organised and have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as collaboratively across the organisation to support our goal of community engagement.

You must be computer literate and have a polite and professional manner with good communication skills. Previous administration, or customer service skills would be advantageous but not essential for the role.


The successful applicant will require an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate which is considered satisfactory to Housing Solutions.
