Our client is looking for an experienced credit professional to join their fast-growing group of businesses based in London


This role will suit someone with excellent communication skills who will be able to work closely with clients and the internal sales team and, very importantly, at management level to become a trusted member of the team.


They are looking for a confident self-starter who ideally has previous experience leading a team within a busy services business.

This hire will be key to building long term relationships with clients, and ensuring good cash flow for the business as theycontinue to grow.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Running an efficient credit department to achieve collection targets
  • Continuous improvement of processes and internal systems
  • Creating new credit policies for clients
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to manage ongoing projects
  • Regular reporting on DSO and Collection targets
  • Driving performance and creating KPI's and targets for collections
  • Liaison with the bank and finance facilities the business partner with
  • Liaising with clients to ensure payment are made in line with terms
  • Liaising with clients and Consultants/Administrator where invoices are queried to ensure all disputes are resolved
  • Have worked in a similar capacity at an salesbased company preferably another recruitment business
  • Have experience of UK credit control
  • Have experience of financial systems including invoicing
  • Have solid IT literacy in a Microsoft environment (especially Excel)
  • Have experience of working closely with salespeople with a natural empathy and understanding that they don't always think the same way as finance people.
  • Have the ability to establish and maintain good client relationships both internally and externally at all levels.
  • Have the ability to report at director level in a highly professional and accurate manner.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong communication skills: listening, verbal and written and work well under pressure
