- Degree level minimum in Physics (or similar)
- Complex analytical instrumentation design experience – ideally involving Lasers/Optics
- PhD/Masters qualified - highly desirable

Typical duties include developing specifications for new products through simulation & theoretical studies, detailed design, documentation, prototyping, test & validation, continuous improvement and offering support on existing projects.
