    Description
    A global engineering & scientific business in the Manchester area have seen strong growth and now have a requirement for a talented Physicist to join their vibrant R&D team.

    The role of Physicist is highly challenging and full lifecycle. Typical duties include developing specifications for new products through simulation & theoretical studies, detailed design, documentation, prototyping, test & validation, continuous improvement and offering support on existing projects.

    This an outstanding position for a Physicist with proven experience to work with advanced technology at a company that offers a great salary/benefits package as well as long term progression.

    Physicist Requirements:
    • Degree level minimum in Physics (or similar)
    • Complex analytical instrumentation design experience – ideally involving Lasers/Optics
    • PhD/Masters qualified - highly desirable
