Women and Girls Network, a charity run by women, for women, are looking to appoint a Director of Services, responsible for operational management of all Woman and Girls Network services.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a charity with a brilliantmission to support woman and girls who have faced gender-based violence in London.
Aligned to the recent growth of Women and Girls Network (WGN), the overall purpose of this role is to deliver and implement to the highest standard a new strategic plan forall services for women and girls:- To embed feminist principles and the values and vision of WGN throughout all Services
- To oversee the development and manage the implementation of service strategies as directed by the CEO for Services and compliant with relevant funders
- To motivate, manage and inspire the Managers and all the teams working with women and girls
- To ensure the voice and feedback from women is central to the development and delivery of women and girls services
- To have accountability for all aspects of existing and new services within WGN
- To be the lead on safeguarding for WGN

Essential Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of feminist principles
- Intersectionality
- Experience working with women and girls in the not for profit or charity sector
- Experience as a senior manager for a minimum for 2 years
- Successful track record in leading a number of services with a diverse range of funders
- Experience leading and managing change
- Experience managing, motivating and inspiring staff teams
- Safeguarding
- Extensive experience of partnership working and networking with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
Key Skills and Abilities
- Operational management within the care/social sector
- To seek feedback and listen to service users to ensure services are person centred
- Leading and managing teams across a wide geographical area
- To collaborate and draw on expertise beyond and different to your own to ensure optimum operational outcomes
- To motivate staff and evidence a proactive approach to professional development.
- To produce reports, make presentations and speak publically to a wide range of audiences
- Excellent communications and listening skills and proven ability to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders
