SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Birmingham (B25) who are recruiting for an International Trading Executive. The role will be office based.

£28,000 - £29,000

Purpose


A profound opportunity for an energetic and committed business professional to join an ambitious, dynamic and fast growing international trading business, focussed on serving importers with medical, consumer and beauty products around the world (especially in the US and throughout the EU).


As an International Trading Executive you will be responsible for procuring and selling a variety of products across a diverse range of categories and serving clients across the world.

To be successful in being selected for this role you will need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, the ability to engage clients and brilliant organisational skills.

Your strong communication skills will be coupled with exceptional analytical skills as you will gauge supply chain opportunities from the Company's extensive global supply network.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Grow new leads based on an internal criteria
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market, both for purchasing as well as sales.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on activities, ensuring all daily activities and metrics are transparently tracked and visible
  • Provide clients and internal stakeholders with back order reports, sales and profitability reports
  • Support the Head of Trading in reporting and client service.
Personal Requirements


Essential:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Hard worker ready to go above and beyond.
  • Tenacious attitude, ambitious and driven to succeed
  • Structured and methodological mindset and approach
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Personable manner with excellent active listening skills
  • Strong ability to use MS Excel and analyse data.
  • Ability to work independently.

Desirable:

  • Proficient in ERP Software
