Description

Trek Group are looking to appoint an experienced Quality Control Checker for their prestigious Cartwright Vehicle Conversions site in Belton, near Doncaster.

The Quality Control Checker will be required to check all vehicles/products within the Finishing Department, highlight faults, report on faults and quality issues and feedback into the quality system to ensure faults are resolved at root cause.

The Quality Control Checker will be a champion of quality and will report directly to the Production Director.

Main duties:

Check all vehicles at 1st, 2nd and PDI check levels as required
Communicate problems and quality issues to the area Supervisor to be resolved
Comply with all Company Health and Safety Procedures
Train new starters and experienced staff in quality solutions
Conduct root cause analysis on problems
Create reports for end users on highlighted issues and provide resolutions
Work with the Senior Management team to ensure faults are resolved to the correct standard
Act on the end user feedback and implement preventive measures as required
Longer term, be prepared to help out on internal auditing across the various Company departments

You are observant and would challenge inconsistencies.
You are flexible in terms of approach to inspections as well as working hours (some overtime may be required).

The standard working hours are 7:30 am-5:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00 am to 12:30 pm on Friday. We will be moving to a 4-day working week model in the near future.
