    Job Description

    We have an excellent Test Analyst (IT Systems) job opportunity on a FTC until September 2025. The role has generous holidays and excellent pension scheme.

    Candidates applying for this position must have the following skills and experience:-

    • Proven experience developing a testing strategy and test plans for an enterprise level application.
    • Proven experience with a variety of Development Methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
    • Solid understanding of IT project management and planning including milestones and critical paths.
    • Proven experience of being part of a team responsible for systems development lifecycle including analysis, design, build and in being accountable for testing.
    • Experience of leading large and diverse user groups through testing as part of ongoing testing cycles and UAT.
    • Candidates with practical experience of test automation tools or scripting would be at a distinct advantage.
    • Proven experience of supplier management to resolve issues and defects.
    • University degree or equivalent.
    • Evidence of Continual Professional Development.
    • Testing / training qualification. E.g ISTQB Certification, Project Management Training are desirable.

    Responsibilities for this role include:-

    • Structuring tasks defined in the Test Strategy in terms of technical requirements.
    • Analysing the internal structure of systems in sufficient detail to meet the expected quality.
    • Evaluating systems in terms of non-functional attributes, e.g. performance and reliability.
    • Preparing and executing the appropriate activities, and reporting on their progress.
    • Conductiong technical testing activities.
    • Providing the necessary evidence to support evaluations .
    • Implementing the necessary tools and techniques to achieve the defined goals.
