Shifts Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:00pm or 2:00pm-10:00pm (rotating) 37.5 hours p/w

Location: Skelmersdale, WN8 9PT

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You'll be responsible for site maintenance and support to ensure smooth and efficient running of the plant day-to-day.

Job Role:

· Ensuring all maintenance activity meets quality standards with respect to workmanship, processes and procedures in order to deliver and meet targets.

· Ensuring that company procedures and effective controls are followed.

· To work in support of a preventative maintenance strategy by undertaking work of a predictive, preventative and repair nature.

· Document and communication as necessary comprehensive maintenance records.

· Coordinating maintenance and repair services to keep production operational/providing engineering and maintenance support to ensure maximum production.

· Ensure that all work conducted is in accordance with all Health and Safety rules and regulations.

· Supporting and mentoring the Maintenance Apprentice.

· Carry out PPM's.

· Identifying faults, investigating production problems, and repairing equipment quickly and efficiently.

· Ensuring contractors are appropriately supervised and comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes.

· Liasing with external contractors.

Skills & Experience

· Ability to work individually and within a fast paced environment.

· 5 year's experience within the same or similar role.

· Manufacturing environment (preferred)

· Electrical installation qualification (preferred)
