- Detailed analysis of documents relating to costing, claims, and any other relevant information required to analyse information provided on major disputes.
- Preparation of claims and/or defence documents to litigation/arbitration standard.
- Support delivery of commission services in line with client briefs.
- Actively contribute to marketing and business development of the full range of the company's services across a wide client base.
- Assist with the preparation of expert reports for formal dispute resolution proceedings. Experience and knowledge required:
- 15 years' experience in the building or civil engineering industry.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or other, related discipline.
- Ideally hold a relevant post-graduate qualification such as MSc in Construction Law and / or a professional qualification.
- Experience in preparing and defending claims.
- Previous exposure to dispute resolution, for example, adjudication and / or mediation.
- Experience in assisting quantum experts.
- Experience of business development, marketing, networking etc.
- Willingness to travel in the UK and overseas to suit client requirements. Additional Information:
