Role Overview


Trigon Recruitment are recruiting for an award-winning social enterprise supporting young people aged 16-25 for a Arts Tutor in Telford, to join the team and bring the company ethos of the education revolution to life.

This is an excellent opportunity as a tutor,teaching and assessing learners to meet gaps in skills and knowledge and enable them to progress in their career aspirations and making a difference in young learner's lives.


Role responsibilities

  • Responsible for the planning and delivery of Arts Award qualification.
  • To deliver and implement teaching and learning practices to raise student standards and progress.
  • To develop and deliver high quality teaching materials and schemes of learning that keep students engaged using creativity, differentiation, and extension tasks.
  • Plan effectively to ensure pupils have the opportunity to meet their potential, taking account of the needs of pupils who are underachieving, those that are able and those that are excelling in Art.
  • To meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and in collaboration with the SEND Lead to prepare, implement, monitor, and review Individual Educational Packages.
  • To provide a highquality student experience that enables students to succeed beyond their expectations.
  • Promote Inclusion best practice and contribute to the aims and ethos of the college.
  • Working with students from Pre-Entry to Level
  • Responsible for comprehensive marking and written and verbal feedback for students.
  • Working in conjunction with the Outstanding and Good criteria for OFSTED.
  • To participate in weekly group engagement activities such as bowling, nature walks, climbing, graffiti workshops etc to ensure you build a strong rapport with all students.

Essential Criteria

  • Must have a supportive and nurturing approach and a real ability to engage disengaged learners or those that may struggle to see the value in their education.
  • Must own your own car, have business insurance in place and ensure that tax and MOT are maintained. You must be willing to carry out student pickups and drop offs (mileage paid at 45p per mile).


The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, provide satisfactory references, and prove their eligibility to work in the UK.
