- Responding to complex casework queries and enquiries, attending meetings, building networks and partnerships across Hestia, RBKC, and beyond as appropriate.
- To monitor staff performance and address in a timely manner.
- Experience at using local mechanisms in place to gather users feedback and meaningfully involve them in service delivery.
- Excellent knowledge of Housing, Community Care, Mental health, Health and Safety and welfare benefits legislation.
- Experience of implementing and maintaining good Equality & Diversity practice.
- Able to use computer systems to create accurate reports and able to assess and audit staff ability to use computer systems to record client data accurately and to a high standard.
- Encourage and promote a multi-agency approach of working to ensure the needs of the service users are met to a high quality which will include working in partnership with a range of care and support agencies within a support planning framework.

About the Service / Department
Our service enables Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea residents to avoid, and in particular to reduce the need for, prolonged hospital admissions and long-term dependency on mental health services.
This service deliver community based, person-centred and holistic support to service users who are aged over 18, who have a severe and/or enduring mental health needs and living in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
The overall aim of support provision is preventing hospital admissions and facilitating earlier discharge, promoting recovery, social inclusion and helping service users to maximise their independence and wellbeing, access to employment, training, and other mainstream activities.
To lead, motivate and empower the team to effectively deliver community based, person-cantered and holistic support to service users.
An understanding of the needs, perceptions & engagement of service users with mental health needs; Experience of supporting service users to develop skills required for independent living and address their broader needs by enabling access to other support and advice services.
