- Position: Catering Assistant
- Hours: 16 hours per week
- Contract: Fixed-Term Contract until 31st January 2025
- Rate: £12.00 per hour (£10,010pa, pro rata of FTE)
- Location: Reeve Court Retirement Village, Merseyside, WA9 5AG
- Work in our bistro & bar serving customers with a range of food and refreshments.
- During the day making & serving a range of fresh sandwiches, toasties, late breakfasts and lunch options.
- In the evening serve in our resident's bar lounge with a range of alcoholic and other drinks and light bite food options.
- Cash Handling, Till work.
- Adopted clean as you go work to maintain our 5-star food hygiene standards.
- Work as part of a small team delivering warm & friendly service.
- Provide hospitality service support when required.
- Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
- Unload food and equipment deliveries.
- Keep the storeroom organised.
- May have previous experience of working in a similar environment, although training will be given.
- Must have a flexible working attitude as the business is over a 7-day week.
- Must be approachable, warm and welcoming and be able to put the customers first.
- Must be trustworthy, honest, responsible & reliable.
- Must be able to manage own working time as some solo work is required.
- Might already be qualified to QCF Level 2, or equivalent, or be prepared to work towards this qualification.
- Flexible, team player with a can-do attitude
