Interim Procurement Manager| Remote Based | £350 - £400 per day (umbrella) | Temporary

Client:


Castlefield Recruitment are currently working exclusively with a public sector organisation with a national presence, to recruit an interim Procurement Manager.


The organisation operates a
remote working policy, with occasional travel required for meetings with the team (once per month maximum).


This position would suit an individual with extensive tendering knowledge, an ability to manage multiple projects at once and a team player.


Role:


  • Delivering the category strategy including planning and sourcing activities which generate benefits and achieve financial savings targets
  • Analyse financial contract activity and providing advice, guidance, and support on commercial issues
  • Experience of developing and implementing procurement strategies

Individual:


  • Extensive procurement experience within the Public Sector
  • Must be strong on PCR2015
