HGV 1 Driver Night shunter
To provide ongoing support every week to shunt trailers on an overnight shift.

This would generally mean starting at 22:30PM to 08:00 and there would be opportunity for OT, with requirements

Our Client is one of the fastest growing express parcel delivery companies in the UK.

Rate = £19 per hour

The typical working hours will be Saturday and Sunday 22:30 to 08:30

We are currently recruiting on their behalf an experienced and dedicated HGV 1 Shunter to support their chelmsford depot on an ongoing basis.

HGV 1 Shunter Job Description
Your key responsibilities will include;

Movement of trailers through the confines of the yard in a safe responsible action
Adhering to yard Health and Safety procedures and regulations
Reporting any damage seen or that may have occurred during movements of trailer

What we're looking for;

The ability to work efficiently within a fast paced and pressured environment to ensure that our yard operation runs as smoothly as possible
Have experience in a similar position
Hold a Class 1 LGV Licence (C + E)
A current driver CPC card
Tachograph

Working hours

As our clients depots are operational 7 days a week you will be required to work 5 shifts per week

Please note A full UK driving licence and CPC card and Tachograph will be required for this role
